This place had a lot of potential with friendly staff and helpful camp hosts, but the parking situation was frustrating, and the internet didn't work well. The cabins were clean and cozy, though, and we enjoyed the hot tub after a long day exploring Yellowstone.

We had an amazing time at Sawtelle Mountain Resort! The location is fantastic, surrounded by beautiful wildlife and lush trees. Our room was spacious and exceptionally clean, with a cozy bed that provided a great night's sleep. The staff was friendly and always promptly responded to our service requests. Breakfast had a good variety, and we really appreciated the working AC that kept us comfortable throughout our stay.
The breakfast area can get crowded during peak hours.

Kids loved the game room with so many options to play. The breakfast area gets overcrowded at peak times. Clean rooms, very spacious. About 25 minutes to Yellowstone's entrance, great location.

An Affordable Gem Near Yellowstone!
Our family had a fantastic stay! Hayden at the front desk was a true lifesaver, providing us with local tips. The pool was a great way to unwind after a day of exploring. Be sure to bring snacks since dining options nearby close early!

Perfect for families seeking a retreat
We found ourselves in a real gem of a place which had a nice kitchen setup in our room-so we could cook something decent instead of eating junk food all the time. Plus, the hot tub on the back deck was just what we needed after long days out, you know?
It wasn’t exactly a bargain, but you get what you pay for.
